New York Fashion Week: Nudes and Neutrals!

New York Fashion Week:  Nudes and Neutrals!

By: Micaela Shambee

It’s hard for any girl not to be inspired by New York Fashion Week.  With designers such as Zac Posen, Marc Jacobs and Christian Siriano to prep you for 2011, your sure to want to skip Winter altogether and jump right into Spring!  Well, designers don’t disappoint, bringing this year’s Nude trend back with a commanding presence!  Instead of predictable uses of color,  Nudes and Neutrals were sashaying every where with small  pops of color used very sparingly in most collections.

Expect White to be hot next Spring because from BCBG Max Azria to Doo.Ri and beyond you could not miss each designers use of the color.  Designers opted for minimalism, using effortless draping on flowing maxi and cocktail dresses.  In addition,  well tailored shorts and trousers hit the runways, as well as the 70’s era wide leg pant.
