OOTD: Color Blocking

Today I attempted color blocking and I think it was pretty successful. You tell me PASS or FAIL?

  1. Hey there pretty girl,

I really love your outfit today. I think color-blocking is a great trend, compared to some others out there. I personally would love to rock this very outfit myself. However; in my personal opinion, I dislike your choice of shoe for this outfit. You have two warm colors in your look, the red and the orange, so the blue shoes seem out of place and are quite distracting to the look as a whole.(at least I think so) Otherwise I think you PASS and I’m glad I found your blog.

    Toodles,

    B

P.S. If anyone thinks I’m wrong, I don’t have a problem with that. I think she looks great but I personally don’t like blues and oranges together, but that’s just me. If anyone would like to correct me and prove that blue and orange is a rockin combo, I wouldn’t mind. There’s always something new to learn 🙂

    • Hey there B, thanks for commenting! We respect your opinion and to each it’s own, but personally we love blue and orange! It can be very striking ( because they are complimentary colors), but we think that’s exactely what color blocking is all about, which is pairing striking colors (sometimes cool and warm) with each other for a bold statement. You should try it out, you might actually like it! All in all we appreciate your honest opinion and we hope to see more comments from you in the future!
